How to make a secure payment through Voxpay?

What is Voxpay?

  • Secure payment done by credit card using a link
  • Link can be sent by SMS or email (1 hour expiration)
  • Client complete the payment form with credit card details, Travel Agent (TA) can follow step by step the payment process
  • Amount paid by the Great Members (GMs) is gross amount, paid directly to Club Med

This feature is intended to offer our Great Members (GMs) a payment method that complies with the “PCI-Payment Card Industry” standard to ensure the security of our customer’s banking data. 

This method could be use either during
the reservation path or via an existing
option or booking

Good to know

DIRECT BOOKING: For direct booking (CMTA path until the end): 1 HOUR LINK DURATION*
OPTION: For a payment of a validated file (option): 24 HOUR LINK DURATION*
 
Option without transport: The link will expire on the expiration date of the option.
Option with transport: The link will last 3 HOURS provided that the option is valid for another 3 hours (unless the option expire date is earlier)

 

*Great Members can do partial or full payment, the link is between 3h (if transport included) to 24h (if no transport included)

  1. Why is Club Med making this change?
    • We are committed to providing a secure booking environment for your clients and to be compliant with industry standards. 
  2. How do I generate a payment link? 
    • You can create and confirm a new booking, request to confirm an option or take final payment on the Club Med Travel Advisor Booking Engine (preferred method), or by calling our contact center at 1-800-CLUBMED. 
  3. Is a payment link automatically generated when I make an option?
    • No, you must generate a link by requesting to confirm the booking when you are ready to do so. 
  4. When does the link expire?
    • The link validity varies depending on the stage of the booking (option/final payment). In the case of an option, the link will expire at either the expiration of the option or the time limits below, whichever comes first.
      • Option with flights: 3 hours maximum 
      • Option without flights: Until 1 hour before the end of the option period (Note: if the option is extended, a new link must be sent) 
      • Final Payment: 24 hours 
      • Booking with non-refundable rate: Payment must be taken at the time of booking (e.g. client is on the line while you are booking) 
  5. Do I enter my client’s mailing or billing address?
    • Credit card billing address should be used 
  6. Will Club Med retain client information?
    • No, contact information (email/cell and billing address) is only used for payment processing and is not retained 
  7. Will I receive an email confirmation of my client’s payment?
    • You should receive an updated confirmation when payment is made, however you are strongly encouraged to monitor your booking status on traveladvisors.clubmed.com. 
  8. What about nonrefundable rates? 
    • You can still book a nonrefundable rate, but these rates cannot be put on option, therefore you will need to take payment at the time of booking. With your client on the line, you can take a booking on CMTA (traveladvisors.clubmed.com) and, with your client on the line, at the moment of confirmation, you can send them a link. They can enter the credit card number, and you will be able to see the payment acceptance/confirmation in real-time.  
  9. Can I send myself the payment link?
    • If you prefer to send the payment link to yourself, to forward on to your client you may do so, however the link is intended to be used only by the cardholder.
  10. What happens if the link expires?
    • If you are making a final payment, or if you have an option which is still valid, you will need to re-issue a new link if it has expired. (note: issuing a payment link does not extend the option. If you have an option, and payment is not received by the option deadline, it will expire.
