How can I become part of the loyalty program?

Each travel partner will be automatically enrolled into the program after their first sale.

Where can I see my Great Advisor status?

You can check your current Great Advisor status by logging in to the traveladvisors.clubmed.com website, and clicking My Profile within the portal. For more information, select My Yearly Status Points from the vertical menu to the left. If you don’t see your status, please confirm you have completed all the information required under the Account Information section, including your Salesman ID and GM Number.

How does the qualification timeline work?

You may qualify for the next Great Advisor status level at any point throughout the year. At the start of each new calendar year, your Great Advisor status level will be determined on your total sales from the previous calendar year.

How do I redeem my points?

Once logged in to traveladvisors.clubmed.com, under My Profile section, select Redeem My Points. Make sure to fill in all the required information!

Where can I view a list of all the benefits per my status level?

You may view an outline of benefits available to you according to your status level, by logging into your account on traveladvisors.clubmed.com, clicking on My Profile on the top right, and selecting My Benefits from the vertical menu to the left.

How often will my points be updated?

On the day after your client has checked-in at the resort, booked by you, your points will be reflected on your Great Advisor account and can be viewed on your account page via the traveladvisors.clubmed.com portal. Points will be updated daily.

When will I be able to redeem my free night stays?

As long as you have the total accumulated points required to claim your free night stays, you may begin to redeem them. However, free nights may only be requested within a maximum of 45 days in advance of your desired departure date, and up to 3 business days before your planned departure date for last minute getaways.

How are points calculated?

For every dollar ($1) sold towards an all-inclusive Club Med vacation (applicable for land only), you will earn 1 point towards your Great Advisor account. Also, every time you complete a course on Club Med University you will earn 500 points.

What is the difference between points acquired and points pending?

Points pending refer to points equal to the value of a client’s booked land vacation, in which the client has not yet checked into the resort for their vacation. Once your client checks in at the resort at the start of their Club Med vacation, your points will switch from points pending to points acquired.

What is the difference between reward points and status points?

Status points are based on your year-to-date (YTD) bookings made throughout the previous calendar year, starting on January 1st through December 31st. Reward points are based on the accumulation of all your acquired points, and do not expire unless you have not made a Club Med booking in over 12 months. Reward points are only used towards redeeming free night stays. Status points are used to measure which status category you will be in for the following year. Unlike reward points, status points do expire year over year. You will qualify for a new status each year. In addition, you will be given one year to use up all the rewards available to you according to your status category throughout the remainder of the year, as they will not carry over for the following year.

Will I be notified when I upgrade my status?

You can login to traveladvisors.clubmed.com at any time to view your updated status through the My Profile section.

How do I claim my free night stays?

When redeeming free nights, the Great Advisor must meet a minimum of 3 free nights and maximum of 14 free nights per redemption for Club Med resorts in North America, Mexico, and the Caribbean. For other Club Med resorts worldwide, the Great Advisor must meet a minimum of 3 free nights and maximum of 7 free nights per redemption. In addition, you may only use your free night stays for 2 Club Med trips per year.

What differentiates this loyalty program with the previous rewards program?

The Great Advisors Loyalty Program includes new, exciting benefits and rewards, not only for you but for your clients. This program was designed with you in mind, and was enhanced to show our appreciation for your hard work and dedication to Club Med. Another big feature to mention is that we have also automated the reward process to make it simple for you to check your status online and redeem your well-deserved rewards via our travel advisor dedicated portal, traveladvisors.clubmed.com. You will no longer have to enter your sales manually to collect points as this will be automatically integrated into our platform where you can access all your Club Med resources in one place.

When claiming my reward points for free night stays, what resorts are applicable?

Free night stays are redeemable for every Club Med resort!

Will sales for group bookings apply towards the Great Advisors loyalty program?

No, only individual bookings will be applicable for the Great Advisor program.

When claiming free nights, how many guests can I bring?

You may bring one adult and two children maximum. To be considered a child, they must be between the ages of 4 through 15, and adults are considered to be ages 16 and up. In order to claim free nights, both adults and children will require the same number of points to be redeemed. For example, if a travel advisor is traveling with their spouse and a child with 7 years of age, the travel advisor must redeem 10,500 points per night (4,000 points x 3 people x # of nights). If a child is 3 and under, they may be included free of charge. Please note that the travel advisor redeeming a free night must be traveling with their guests in order to claim their guests’ free nights, they cannot be transferred over to friends and family or clients. Please review the terms and conditions carefully for further details.

Are there any additional fees that I will incur when redeeming a reward?

The only fee that you will be responsible for is the standard $30 booking fee per adult or child each time you redeem a vacation using your reward points for free night stays. All other rewards may be redeemed at no extra cost to you.

Will my rewards expire? How long do I have to claim them?

Once you gain a new status level, you will have the remainder of the year plus the following fiscal year to take advantage of all your rewards. However, your reward points for free night stays  will not expire, unless you have not booked a Club Med vacation in over 12 months.

What happens to my points if I change travel agencies?

You will be able to transfer your acquired points with you to your new account, but will not be able to transfer your pending points. Those pending points may be assigned to the new travel partner who will take over the responsibility of ensuring that client is ready for their Club Med vacation. Once the client travels to their Club Med vacation, the points will transfer from points pending to acquired points in the new advisors account.
